On behalf of the Executive Board of the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology (DGHM), we would like to welcome you to the 75th Annual Conference of the DGHM 2023 in Lübeck, the former "Queen of the Hanseatic League".

From 18 to 20 September, meet internationally renowned speakers and young scientists, as well as representatives of industry, to exchange ideas on the current and future state of research and science - for the benefit of society!

This year, discuss the following main topics in the fields of hygiene and microbiology:

• Novel antimicrobial strategies: Phages, pathoblockers and friends
• AMR evolution, emergence and transmission in the One Health context
• Digitalisation in infection control measures
